NRM Sironko chairman Suleiman Mafabi Lumolo has petitioned the president of Uganda Yoweri Museveni asking him to take action against Denis Sekabira, a NUP opposition MP who he says is sleeping with his woman Barbara Nekesa.
Lumolo who fell out with Nekesa at the beginning of this year and was chased from his own home, says that Museveni should punish Nekesa and remove her from the job of being the treasurer for the ruling party because it’s not safe to have a person who uses NRM money to fund her NUP boyfriends. She is also accused of mistreating her junior Madina Nahum, the director finance and admin.
Lumolo says he has been suffering and humiliated much by Nekesa because she values Sekabira more and sees him as trash. His allegations have been supported by NRM youth league chairman Gadhafi Nasur who stood for Katikamu MP seat but lost to Sekabira.
Gadhafi has made a video asking the president to immediately fire officials at party head offices at Kyadondo who funded Sekabira. He says Sekabira defeated him because of the Ugx2bn he was given by his friends at Kyadondo few days to voting day.
Gadhafi says that Lumolo is right because Sekabira was so broke and couldn’t print his own campaign posters until he got money from his allies at Kyadondo. Gadhafi says in his tik tok video that he is ready to defend his claims against Sekabira in whatever forum the president gives him.
He adds that Sekabira was so poor during the campaign time so that he couldn’t even have campaign photos in just 20 villages. Gadhafi says that Sekabira is going to end badly because his person is going to be fired from Kyadondo anytime from now.
Lumolo says that Sekabira has been with his wife behind his back for a long time because when sacks full of NRM money were stolen from her house in Muyenga, he is the man who was around her helping to kill the story in the newspapers. He wants her to be questioned more about that issue.
Apart from writing to Museveni crying for help, Lumolo also recently stormed NRM offices at Kyadondo and shouted on top of his voice calling on top bosses there to help him counsel his wife to leave Sekabira and go back to him.
He said it was very discouraging to be part of NRM when top officials are using party money to pamper the MP from the opposition. He asked whether such cadres still have NRM at heart. He also asked to know why the NUP MP is always seated in his wife’s car when they have never divorced. Lumolo stormed Kyadondo when top officials had just failed to account for Ugx800m which was stolen from the LC1 elections budget.
