Ousted Secretary General of the Orange Democratic Movement Edwin Sifuna has revealed that come what may, he’s not about to back down to threats in his bid to reclaim the ODM party from the captivity of the hyenas.
Sifuna who was ousted last week in an ODM top bras meeting held in Mombasa chaired by party leader Oburu Oginga ran to court to stop the gazettement of his deputy also Busia Women Representative Catherine Omanyo who was named in acting capacity to take over Sifuna’s roles.
Prior to his ouster, Sifuna and his colleagues Babu Owino, James Orengo, Godfrey Osotsi among others had taken their Linda Mwanachi tours to Busia county where thousands thronged the grassroot mobilization campaign.
The ousted Secretary General held his second mobilization tour in Kajiado county which was attended by 1000s of his supporters. Unfortunately the rally was ended prematurely after police robbed teargas at attendees.
The Sifuna brigade however vowed not to back down on the mobilization tours as they head to Kakamega county next weekend.
Thank You Kitengela. Inspite of all the harassment, intimidation and violence from this morning you showed up. They first destroyed our dais and sound equipment in the morning, the state goons have now teargassed a peaceful assembly and brought it to an abrupt end. We shall not… pic.twitter.com/YD7ffXYCQo
