Technocrats inside Uganda’s ministry of foreign affairs are quietly grumbling after state minister Haruna Kasolo disregarded professional advice and traveled to Turkey with a large group of slay queens.
The minister has been away in Turkey on official work since Friday. He officially traveled with one of his wives singer Princess Amirah, who took advantage of the trip to get visas and travel with 5 other girlfriends of hers.
Its not clear whether Kasolo used personal or government money to facilitate the large number of girls who jetted into Turkey besides him.
The technocrats at the ministry say this reckless social life by a minister who can’t accept professional advice, is part of the reason why president Museveni disregarded Kasolo and insisted on having Adonia Ayebare, a more polished decent man, to head the ministry of foreign affairs.
NUP supporters in the diaspora are also paranoid to see Kasolo camp in Turkey at the time the Ugandan army commander is increasing pressure on the Turkish government to surrender Ugandan dissident Fred Lumbuye Kajubi.
